The Curtis Center requires each artist, whose work is accepted, to fill out an Artist Agreement document for their records (a link will be provided upon acceptance). The Curtis Center receives a 20% commission on all sales of artwork from this exhibition.

Size Requirements:  Minimum size is 36” wide and 36” high.

                                Maximum size is 6’ both horizontal and vertical.

                                Sculptural work may not exceed a radius/depth of 36"

**There will be no exceptions to the size parameters per the Curtis Center**
 

Submission Details: Each entrant may submit up to five (5) works for consideration.  Jpeg images only, sized to 1200 pixels on the longest side at 300 dpi. One image per artwork. Images must be titled as follows: first and last name initials, underscore, followed by title of artwork.  

 

Using Carol Bivins and Shara Oliman as examples, here are their initials, underscore and artwork title: CB_LivinginAmerica; SO_Rainfallinblues

 

JPEG images should be submitted via email to : Sharaoliman@gmail.com with a subject line: Taking Up Space. If you do not receive a confirmation of receipt, your images were NOT received.

Notifications of accepted artworks will be emailed on or around September 25. Accepted artworks should be delivered to The Curtis Center between October 25-28, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please do not arrive at 4:00; the Curtis Center closes at 4:00 p.m.

Drop-Off Dates:  October 25-28, 2023 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. 

 

Pick-up Dates: December 22 at 4 pm after the artist talks OR December 27 - 29, 2023, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., The Curtis Center, 2349 E Orchard Road, Greenwood Village, CO 80121

 

NOTE:  The Curtis Center is closed Dec. 23-26. Work must be retrieved on Dec 22 at 4 pm OR between Dec. 27 - December 29th, 2023. If you cannot pick up your work, you must arrange for someone to retrieve it. Curtis Center insurance coverage will LAPSE after the 29th and they will have no liability for damage after that date.
