June 21 - July 28, 2024

The Trinidad Arts Council and the Women’s Caucus for Art Colorado Chapter (WCACO) invite women and women-identifying artists to submit 1- 3 works of art that represent what it means to be an artist from Southeastern Colorado and Northern New Mexico. It is up to the artist to interpret the broad theme in a way that is personal to you. We want the exhibition to tell a visual story of the richness of women artists and their lives in this special region.
The WCACO will provide murals of Colorado women artists, past and present, who are recognized for their significant art contributions.
The exhibition will be juried by Gudega Stevens and Abigail Kreuser, owners of Auric Gallery in Colorado Springs and Curated by Lelie Lefferdink
In conjunction with the exhibition, there is an opportunity for women-identifying artists to be part of a large 6,000 circle project. Artists do not need to be in the exhibition in order to participate in the 6,000 circle project.
