Reception and Tour

Living Tradition, Past. Present. Future. Colorado Women Artists

Wednesday, November 19, 2-4 pm

Colorado State Capitol. 200 E Colfax Avenue. Denver CO 80203

 

Join us for a reception and tour of a collaborative exhibition of artworks by living mural honorees and WCACO muralists celebrating Colorado women artists. Our 12 mobile murals will be displayed in the rotunda area open to the public. This exhibition also features over 50 pieces of artwork by Colorado Women artists from 29 to 101 years old, displayed in the governor and lieutenant governor's offices and reception areas.

Annual Holiday Party

SATURDAY, Nov. 15, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

No art gifts, but yes a food drive: We are NOT doing an art/gift exchange for 2025. Instead, we are collecting food donations for Rose Andom Center (RAC) of Denver's pantry. They welcome and need both canned goods and dry goods "Any and all food items help the survivors that come into the building." Please bring at least 1 food item to donate to RAC. Activity: Bring at least 1 business card, if you have them for our activity. Optional: Bring a note, poem, words of wisdom, inspirational quote, prayer, etc. to go along with our activity. 

 

Potluck: NO SEAFOOD! Please bring a food or drink item to share with at least 6 people. Keep in mind the sweet, sour, salty, bitter, umami/savory things to bring.
