I am a new member of the WCA Colorado Chapter.

I enjoy learning from other artists ways to develop myself an emergent artist and as well to collaborate with other women.

Artist Statement

I currently live in Aurora, Colorado and teach STEM with Aurora Public Schools. I love to paint sceneries of the beautiful places I hike and as well embracing the culture of the southwest. In 2020, I began taking oil painting and en plein air classes with Linda Sole Faul in Boulder, Colorado. I have participated in en plein workshops hosted by Linda Sole Faul in Taos, New Mexico and Paonia, Colorado.  I continue to study with her to this date.

I am a member of the Boulder Art Association (BAA) and also a member of the Women’s Caucus for Art Colorado Chapter.  In addition, I have participated in the Boulder Open Studios Plein Air Events for both 2021 and 2022.  I was invited to the juried show of the 2021 Outdoor Creations Plein Plein Air Art Show for Boulder County Parks and Open Space.  I have also been invited to the juried show of the 2021 and 2022 Gateway to the Rockies Show hosted by the Aurora Artists Guild.   I participated in the Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence yearly fundraiser Chocolate Lovers’ Fling for the years 2021 and 2022  by donating paintings for the silent auction.
