December 2025 presents a unique opportunity to fund your own holiday festivities as well as add a little something to the Colorado Chapter's coffers for operating expenses. The Holiday Art Market (HAM) exhibit & gift sales event (aka the "HAM" offers a departure from normal exhibit procedures.

Only a limited number of artists may participate. Applications and art will be juried by the HAM committee.  We are seeking the best mix of art and handmade items that will appeal to the public and that determination will be made once all applications are received.

Sales price distribution:

70% of sales price to artist

15% to Colorado Chapter of WCACO 

15% to 40 West Gallery at The HUB

• Participants must apply and be juried into the event.

• Method to apply available starting July 19, 2026

• Deadline to apply:  Midnight, September 30, 2025

​

Suggested handmade art & gifts:  jewelry, smaller works of original art, prints, handmade toys, pottery, greeting cards, holiday cards, leather, wood, herbal products & plants, accessories and anything else …!!

WCACO Members:

• Non-refundable fee to apply for WCACO members: $5.00 for all the inventory you submit for review.

• Applications are due September 30, 2025

• Refundable commitment deposit to hold your place in the event: $100.  

• Deposit is due October 10, 2025

• Deposit will be refunded to members who bring at least 20 individually-priced pieces of art to set-up December 1 - 3.

• Deposit refund available beginning December 8.  For the deposit - you will be asked to write a check for $100 to WCACO. This check will not be deposited in the bank UNLESS you fail to show up December 1 or 2 with your inventory.  Artists who arrive with their work will be handed back their check.

• Members may be required to bring their own fixtures/set-up to display their work. We will not know if you must bring your own display fixtures until soon after September 30 when we see what the total inventory looks like.

• Artists participating in the event with work to sell will be required to serve at least one shift to "sit" the show.  Artists who cannot serve at least one shift will have $50 deducted from their sales receipts.

• Artist works not picked up by December 23 will be offered for sale at our "After-Christmas Sale" for a 25% discount of the original sales price.  Break-down date is Sunday, Dec. 28.

• The 40 West Gallery has been a safe place for artists to sell their work for years. However, neither 40 West Gallery, WCCA, WCA, WCACO, or any chapter members executing this event can be held responsible for the damage or loss of any item for sale.

 

For Non-Members:

• Non-refundable fee for non-members to apply:  $5

• Non-refundable commitment deposit fee upon acceptance into show: $100.  Why not join the Caucus and pay less?
