Littleton Plein Air Festival

You are cordially invited to participate in the Littleton Plein Air Festival 2025 in the beautiful City of Littleton CO, hosted by the Women’s Caucus for Art Colorado Chapter and funded by a City of Littleton Arts & Culture Grant. Artists will create art at Littleton’s parks, buildings, and the famous Hudson Gardens. Work created during the festival will be exhibited August 5-29, 2025 at the Littleton Town Hall Center Stanton Gallery. The exhibit will showcase scenes and activities in the city to celebrate the diverse and vibrant culture of the City of Littleton.

 

Plein Air Event and Exhibit Overview

Participation is open to all female-identifying artists. Artists do not need to be residents of Littleton CO to participate. However, art must be created within the City of Littleton. All mediums are welcome. There is no fee to paint or to exhibit your work. This is a FREE opportunity to enjoy creating and showing your work with other artists. 

 

Participant check-in: Alley Arts Studio, 2217 W Powers Ave, Littleton, CO 80120 on Saturday, June 28 8-10 am. In-person Registration is required to participate in the Festival.

Art creation: Saturday, June 28 through Sunday, June 29, 2025

Art drop-off: Town Hall Arts Center Stanton Gallery, Thursday, July 31, 2025, 11 am -1 pm. 

Exhibit: August 5-29, 2025 at Town Hall Arts Center Stanton Gallery in downtown Littleton, CO. Gallery hours are 10am - 5pm, M-F. All registered art will be shown in the gallery. The exhibit will be up during Littleton’s Western Welcome Week, ensuring many visits to the Gallery.

Reception: Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Town Hall Arts Center Stanton Gallery, 1 pm - 4 pm. Artists, friends, and the public are welcome. Light refreshments will be served. Three awards, selected by the event curators, will be given out at the opening reception.

Art pick-up: Friday, August 29, 2025, 1 pm - 4 pm.
