The Darlene Kuhne Scholarship with WCACO

WCACO currently offers two Darlene Kuhne Scholarships per year to existing and potential members who show a desire to be active in the organization.  We ask recipients of the Darlene Kuhne Scholarship to be active community members in our local chapter WCACO and/or National Chapter WCA. 

 

HOW TO APPLY: In one page or less please answer the following questions.

• Tell us about yourself and your artwork. 

• What interests you about The WCACO and National WCA? 

• Which of the following areas are you most interested in participating in?

  • Professional Development

  • Marketing Committee

  • Exhibition committee

  • Board

  • Mural team

  • Book Group

  • Diversity

  • Non-profit -Administration

ARTWORK: SHOWING QUALITY AND POTENTIAL: 

• Submit 5 JPEGS of work and a short paragraph about your artwork.

 

STEPS:

1. Send the above information for potential Scholarship members to a board member.  

2. The board will review and approve applicants.

3. Grant two scholarships per year based on need and qualifications.

4. Recipients will be interviewed several times in the year to monitor their participation and determine if any assistance is needed to make their scholarship term as successful as possible.
