Advantages of a WCACO Membership
Membership to WCACO offers women a vibrant art community where they can collaborate on projects, organize exhibitions, support each other’s artistic ventures, and exchange ideas. WCACO welcomes artists of all backgrounds and skill levels. Emerging artists benefit from the shared experience of professional artists and at the same time, professional artists benefit from the new ideas and enthusiasm from emerging artists.
The organization hosts annual member exhibitions where all WCACO artists can share their work and celebrate each others’ artistic expression and uniqueness. Additionally, WCACO hosts a variety of committees that members can take part in, including professional development, diversity outreach, artists talks, and creating group murals for public spaces.
A WCACO membership automatically includes a membership to our national WCA, which offers its members opportunities to participate in the yearly national conference, national exhibition opportunities, and art book club.
