WCA-CO Print Portfolio and Works on Paper Exhibition
Dates: April 15 – 30, 2005

Dates: Opening Reception, April 15, 6-9 pm; show runs through April 30

Gallery Hours: Fridays and Saturdays 12-5 pm or by appointment

Show Information: The 14-print WCA portfolio will be exhibited along with works on paper created by current (2005) members of the WCA. Mark Lunning, Director of Open Press will jury the works on paper portion of this exhibition. Each WCA-CO 2005 member (dues paid) will be allowed to enter up to 3 works; Artwork must be works on paper; photography and 3-D paper work (sculptures, books, etc.) will be allowed. Wall work must be framed appropriately, and please label each entry with name, title, medium, date and price. Include any pertinent instructions for 3-D work.

This will be an exhibition of the print portfolio created by WCA members over the last 2 years through our print exchange, organized by Melinda Laz and Alicia Bailey. Since this portfolio of 15 prints will not fill the gallery, Mark Lunning, Master Printer and director of Open Press, will also be Jurying in works on paper by WCACO members. There will be a single $10 hanging fee due from each artist who is juried into the exhibition, regardless of number of works accepted. The gallery and WCA take a combined 50% commission of any sales of work from the exhibition.

Drop off: Friday April 8th or Saturday April 9th, 2005, between noon & 5 p.m. If you can’t make it during one of those times, please make arrangements with another participating WCA member to get your work dropped off. Please do not contact Open Press to ask for a different drop off time. Remember to adhere to the WCA SHOW STANDARDS when selecting work to enter.

Pick up: May 3 – 7, 2005 during regular Open Press hours

If your work(s) is chosen for the exhibition, you will be asked to contribute a $10 hanging fee. Only one fee per person, even if you get multiple pieces accepted. This will help the WCA cover costs of postcards and food for the reception.

If your work is not chosen for the exhibition, please, try to pick up your work on April 13, 14 or 15 between 10am-5 pm-the sooner the better. Call Mark to confirm at 303-778-1116.

The artist will receive 50% of any sales during the exhibition as Open Press and the WCA will each retain a commission equaling 50%.
